Consequently, the required medication was unavailable for administration and was not documented as being given.

The facility failed to implement a physician's order for fingerstick blood sugar (FSBS) checks for one resident. Specifically, the facility failed to provide required blood sugar readings on multiple dates in October 2019, and some documented values could not be verified in the resident's glucometer.
