What this means for your family

Given the recent, serious allegations regarding facility hygiene and staff conduct, we strongly advise families to conduct an unannounced tour to personally inspect cleanliness and observe staff-resident interactions. While the facility historically offered good activity programs, the current reports of neglect and unprofessionalism are significant red flags that require direct questioning of management.

Key Review Excerpts

Older facility. Special equipment for patients needs was not available most of the time. Transport vehicles were broken and relied on borrowed vehicle. They were very receptive to families’s needs and concerns. Constant attention to details of patients safety seemed to be constant.

Family member · 2025★★☆☆☆

Disgusting facility. Cockroaches. No updates. Staff do not check residents during the night. The nurse, Shelby, is disrespectful and puts the residents down.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

It is a good to place to live. They have a lot of activities.

This facility has ongoing concerns with families filing complaints about wound care and treatment quality in recent surveys. The most recurring issues involve infection control programs, pressure ulcer prevention, and nursing staffing requirements. While most deficiencies have correction dates, persistent problems with infection control and wound care across multiple surveys, plus recent complaint-triggered findings, suggest families should carefully evaluate current care practices during visits.
