What this means for your family

While the facility offers a modern environment and a strong rehab therapy team, the consistency of care is a major concern. Families should conduct unannounced visits, especially during evening and weekend hours, to verify that call lights are answered promptly and that hygiene standards are being met.

Elevate Care Palos Heights receives polarized feedback, with many visitors praising the facility's cleanliness, modern aesthetic, and the dedication of specific staff members. However, a significant number of families report critical failures in basic care, including long wait times for call lights, hygiene issues like patients left in soiled garments, and poor communication from management. Families should be aware that experiences appear highly inconsistent, with some reporting excellent rehab outcomes while others describe neglectful conditions.

Key Review Excerpts

My mom had a recent stay at this facility to rehab for a broken hip. We picked it because of the many four star reviews. Ana of guest service is amazing! Ernestine CNA the best. I am very disappointed in the lack of therapy given and care especially at night.

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

This place is so nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. My loved one is very happy there. Everything was perfect on my visit except I asked whom I was told was the administrator of the place (Short, white, stocky) and I was only going to ask him a question about the meals and he was very dismissive and rude towards me and stormed off like I offended him.
