What this means for your family

Croasdaile Village is an excellent choice for independent living, offering a vibrant community and extensive amenities. However, families considering the Pavilion skilled nursing or memory care units should exercise caution; multiple reviewers have reported concerns regarding staffing levels and hygiene. We strongly recommend conducting a site visit specifically in the nursing wing and asking management for their current staff-to-resident ratio.

Key Review Excerpts

My Dad stayed at the Croasdaile Healthcare Center to rehab after his knee replacement surgery in January. Everyone there was professional, friendly and the lady in the admitting office that helped organize him being transferred there from Duke went above and beyond helping us navigate all the paperwork.

Rehab patient's daughter · 2023★★★★★

My only complaint has to do with the full-care unit. Pavilion Care for my wife who was aphasic was not consistently what I would have wanted. The aides ranged from the very caring to the indifferent to the occasional sullen and unpleasant one.

Long-term resident's spouse · 2017★★★★

They are short staffed and my mother for the 1st year kept getting U.T.I from them letting her sit in her own waste for a long period of time.. This year I've learned that they will call an treating to throw mom out if I didn't call them
