What this means for your family

This facility offers a modern, clean environment and a highly effective physical therapy team, which may benefit those in short-term rehab. Key Review Excerpts

The facility is new and clean. Working in a nursing home is a hard job (and a hard situation to have a parent in), but our family is VERY thankful he is there.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★★★

Cayuga Ridge may have good physical therapists that will advocate for their patients, but this place is not adequate as a nursing home. It is a place where the elderly fall through the cracks if they don’t have CONSTANT family advocacy.

Family member · 2026☆☆☆☆

My only complaint is that they are understaffed on the floor that my husband is on. The medical and support staff need more help keeping up with all of the demands of the residents.

$41,616 in fines

This facility has a concerning pattern of 54 deficiencies across five surveys, with eight complaint-triggered violations indicating families reported issues. Most problematic areas include safety hazards and accident prevention, fire safety systems, and nutrition services. While most deficiencies appear corrected, repeated issues with safety oversight and the volume of family complaints suggest potential ongoing care quality concerns that warrant careful evaluation during visits.
