What this means for your family

While some families report positive experiences with the nursing staff, there are recurring concerns regarding the loss of personal items and inconsistent care standards. We recommend that families maintain frequent, direct contact with the social worker and nursing staff to ensure their loved one's needs are met, and to keep a detailed inventory of personal belongings.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1With the current staffing levels being a strong point, how does your team ensure that individual attention remains consistent throughout the day for all 60 residents?
  • 2I noticed that health inspections have been an area of focus recently; what specific improvements or changes has the facility implemented to address those findings?
  • 3We understand that keeping track of personal items can be a challenge in a communal setting; what protocols do you have in place to help residents keep track of their belongings and medical aids?
  • 4Since you have a reputation for being very responsive to family inquiries, what is the best way for us to stay updated on our loved one's daily well-being and any changes in their care?

Long-term resident's family · 2021★★★★

Everyone takes care of her, wash her clothes, give her meds & checks on her. She is safe & cared for.

Long-term resident's family · 2020★★★★★

Well my Mom’s dentures and hearing aids have been taken from her room. Some of the aids are decent, I’ve had so many frustrating visits w my mom there because of all their rules during this covid 19 and my Mom has gone down so bad there.
