What this means for your family

Bellara is an excellent choice for families seeking a luxury, hotel-like environment with high-end amenities and excellent dining. However, because of a reported incident involving a lack of nighttime monitoring, you should specifically ask management about their protocols for checking on residents during overnight hours.

Bellara Senior Living is highly regarded for its brand-new, luxury-style facility that features modern amenities like full kitchens and in-room laundry. While many families praise the professional sales and administrative staff, there is a critical report of a serious lapse in resident monitoring following a fall. Most residents find the environment bright and upscale, but prospective families should verify nighttime staffing protocols.

Key Review Excerpts

The facility itself is a brand spanking new 5-story structure with secure underground parking. The grounds are impeccable and feels more like a luxury hotel than a senior assisted living facility.

Prospective resident's family · 2026★★★★★

The first day he was there, care staff, and administrators came into see him and talk to us during the afternoon. Sometime between the last check-in at 9:30 pm, my father-in-law fell and laid on the floor without oxygen... until 9:30am when they brought him breakfast.

Resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

Our mom has had two memory evaluations: MOCA 10/30 (3/25/2025), 16/30 (8/5/2025). These scores indicate significant improvements in her overall cognition since moving into Generations at Bellara.
