What this means for your family

Arden Care Center shows potential for successful short-term rehab, but the recurring reports of theft and unresponsiveness to call bells are significant red flags. If you choose this facility, we strongly recommend frequent, unannounced visits and keeping a detailed inventory of your loved one's personal belongings to mitigate the risk of loss.

Arden Care Center receives highly polarized feedback, with families either praising the compassionate, dedicated nursing staff or reporting severe neglect and communication failures. Potential families should be aware that experiences appear to vary significantly depending on the specific unit and staff members involved.

The one issue I have with Arden House is with Administration. I have had an ongoing issue in reguards to many missing items of my sisters for well over a year. I have spoken with several people on several different occasions via phone, email, and zoom, yet nothing is resolved.

This facility shows a concerning pattern of serious, complaint-driven deficiencies. Families have repeatedly filed reports triggering inspections that revealed problems with abuse and neglect prevention, medication management, and safety supervision. Recent surveys continue to find significant violations including failure to prevent medication errors and inadequate response to alleged abuse. While the facility has correction plans for most issues, the persistent nature of these fundamental safety problems, particularly around protecting vulnerable residents, suggests ongoing systemic challenges that families should carefully consider.
