What this means for your family

While this facility is frequently praised for its effective physical therapy and clean rehab environment, the recurring reports of neglect and slow response times are significant red flags. If you choose this facility, ensure you have a family member present frequently to monitor care, and specifically ask management about their weekend and night-shift staffing ratios.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

299 reviews on Google
Alaris Health at The Chateau receives highly polarized reviews, with many families praising the facility for its clean environment, effective rehabilitation therapy, and specific staff members who go above and beyond. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, understaffing, poor hygiene, and slow response times, particularly during nights and weekends. Families should carefully weigh the positive experiences of rehab patients against the recurring reports of inadequate basic care for long-term residents.

Key Review Excerpts

The medical treatment she received there was beyond measure. The Drs and Nursing staff were attentive and stabilized all of her medical concerns prior to discharge.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

The aids at night leave the patient laying in dirty soiled diapers, and don’t properly take care of patients with bed sores , and they then get infections, and are understaffed so the nurses are overloaded and overwhelmed.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The physical therapists, occupational therapists and some of the aides and nurses... got him from being afraid to even sit up on his hip/hemiplegic side to moving around in his wheelchair and pulling himself to standing.

Rehab patient's spouse · 2024★★★★

This facility shows a concerning pattern of recurring fire safety and building infrastructure issues across multiple surveys, with fire safety deficiencies appearing in both 2022 and 2025. The most problematic areas include fire safety systems, medication management, and resident assessment processes. While the facility reports correcting all violations, the repeated fire safety citations suggest ongoing maintenance challenges. Families filed at least one complaint regarding medical record confidentiality that was investigated and corrected.
