Key Review Excerpts

The nursing staff and aides have been beyond patient with her excess prescriptions and are respectful and patient with the application of her ointment in personal areas. WP has always been quick to notify us of anything happening on their campus

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

My mother was brought from the hospital and stayed in her hospital gown and saturated diaper for 2 days. Was to get a shower and I saw she didn't and the nurse said ' we had a lot of call offs. We are working with 74 patients to 3 aides.'

Long-term resident's family · 2018☆☆☆☆

As a side note, bedsores are common on long-term patients confined to bed and/or chairs, but after being there about 3 months, my husband never had even one bedsore. I attribute this to the inflate/deflate mattresses

William Penn Care Center has significant ongoing issues, with families filing multiple complaints that triggered inspections. The facility repeatedly struggles with fire safety systems, resident care quality, and abuse prevention protocols, with the same problems appearing across multiple surveys from 2023-2025. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the persistent recurrence of issues in fire safety, quality of care, and protection from abuse suggests systemic challenges that families should carefully consider before choosing this facility.
