What this means for your family

WellBridge of Romeo is highly regarded for its physical therapy and modern facility, making it a potential candidate for short-term rehab. However, given the recurring and serious reports of understaffing and medication management errors, you must be prepared to be highly involved in your loved one's daily care. We strongly recommend visiting during off-hours to observe staffing levels and asking specifically about their protocols for medical oversight and communication.

WellBridge of Romeo receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility's modern, clean environment and effective physical therapy programs. However, a significant number of reviewers report critical issues regarding chronic understaffing, inconsistent nursing care, and poor responsiveness to medical needs. Families should weigh the facility's aesthetic appeal and therapy success against recurring reports of neglect and communication failures.

Key Review Excerpts

The physical therapy department was EXCELLENT. We are truly thankful to have a facility like this in our community!

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★★

My mom was placed there for short physical rehabilitation... I fought and pushed hard to get her into this facility which was the BIGGEST MISTAKE I have ever made. They kept giving her Ibuprofen every 4 hrs on an empty stomach which caused a GI bleed.

Rehab patient's family · 2023★★☆☆☆

The surroundings are lovely but apparently all of their money gets put into a pretty facade because they are unbelievably understaffed at all times.
