What this means for your family

This facility offers an impressive rehabilitation program and a clean, beautiful environment that is great for post-surgery recovery. However, you must be vigilant about response times; families should frequently check that call lights are being answered promptly and that nursing staff are consistently attentive to hygiene and basic needs.

Families considering TruCare Living Centers will find a facility with a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained physical environment and a highly praised rehabilitation therapy team. However, there is a significant pattern of serious concerns regarding slow response times to call lights, inconsistent nursing care, and occasional issues with supply shortages. While some families report exceptional, compassionate care from leadership, others have experienced severe neglect and communication breakdowns.

The owner uses a mix of short, generic acknowledgments for most positive reviews and provides a personalized, proactive, and professional response to negative feedback. They specifically attempt to move critical conversations to a private phone call with management.

Key Review Excerpts

I loved going to therapy! All were so encouraging. Never let me overuna, as I have tendency in doing just that. I loved how they took care of everyone, not one-on-one, it was a group effort (teamwork) which made everybody's day.

Rehab patient's family · 2025★★★★★

The entire staff is wonderful. However, Mickey Menchanca, their Administrator, deserves special recognition. She consistently shows compassion, kindness, and knowledge for all residents, staff and visitors that walk into the building.

Visitor · 2025★★★★★

The care hear is highly inadequate. In 35 years of professional nursing as an RN I have never seen such slapdash care. The food in this facility is not just mediocre is often not good tasting. Management is very poor, the nurses frequently run out of supplies.
