Key Findings
Recent inspections have identified serious concerns regarding medication management, including improper insulin administration and incomplete narcotic counts, as well as a substantiated allegation of resident neglect. Additionally, there were failures to properly document dish sanitization temperatures in the kitchen.

Narcotic count logs for 1400 and 1500 hall medication carts were left blank for several shifts in March 2025. Additionally, medication administration records (MARs) showed insulin was not always administered according to prescribed instructions (e.g., administering when blood glucose was too low, or not following sliding scale). Resident E's Torsemide was administered despite weight being below the required threshold.
Three-compartment sink logs for January and February 2025 showed instances where required temperature tests for wash, third sink, and sanitation sinks were not completed, making it impossible to confirm proper sanitization of dishware.
