The Lodge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility's cleanliness, modern environment, and effective physical therapy team. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding chronic understaffing, poor food quality, and inconsistent nursing care, including reports of residents being left in soiled conditions for extended periods. Families considering this facility should be aware that while some staff members are described as compassionate and attentive, others are frequently cited for negligence and poor communication.

Key Review Excerpts

The Therapy Department was great. The food was terrible and our mom lost 24 pounds in a few weeks. The Nursing and Aide Departments on the whole were very hurried always noting they had too much to do, noncompassionate and lacked empathy.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★☆☆☆

My dad was sent here to rehab from pneumonia after 11 days in the hospital. If your loved one is sent here you must be their advocate because the care here is the worst I have ever seen.

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My 98 year old dad was just released from The Lodge after a little more than 100 days. He had fallen and broke the socket of his right hip. I didn’t think he would ever get out of bed again but because of the staff there I can say that he is up and about every day.

The most persistent issues involve care planning and assessment, medication management, and quality of care, with the same deficiencies appearing repeatedly from 2022 through 2025.
