What this means for your family

This facility offers a wonderful social environment and excellent dining for those in independent living. However, if your loved one requires skilled nursing or rehab, you must closely monitor their medical care, as multiple families have reported serious issues with UTI recognition and medication management.

The Legacy at Willow Bend is highly regarded by long-term residents and their families for its beautiful campus, warm community atmosphere, and excellent dining options. However, there are serious, recurring allegations regarding medical neglect, specifically concerning UTIs, medication management, and inadequate response to pain during skilled nursing stays. While many praise the rehabilitative therapy and independent living experience, families should exercise extreme caution regarding the quality of nursing care in the skilled nursing wing.

The staff is caring and sees that our every need is met. The residents are welcoming and help make life fun. Moving here has been the best decision we could have made!

Long-term resident's family · 2026★★★★★

My 90 yr old Mother broke her hip. After surgery we decided to place her at The Legacy Willow Bend.. She has received top-notch care during her 3+ week stay here. From Rehab to Speech Therapy, well planned activities, 3 meals a day, nursing care (help with showering, medication etc..).. We highly recommend anyone who is considering this facility.

Rehab patient's family · 2023★★★★★

My mom was in the rehab for almost four weeks . NEGLECT 1) my mom did not have confusion before entering the facility and despite me telling the speech therapist , etc that no one thought to do a UTI test till I asked for one.
