What this means for your family

While The Amberleigh is often praised for its friendly staff and beautiful apartments, the recent trend of negative reviews regarding food quality, facility cleanliness, and maintenance is concerning. Families should conduct a thorough tour, specifically checking the condition of carpets and common areas, and ask for a detailed explanation of how management plans to address the recurring food service and staffing complaints.

Key Review Excerpts

The food, however is mostly awful! It’s often cold and much of the time Mom ends up eating soup or a sandwich in her apartment.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★☆☆

I can’t count how many times I went to visit my mother and found her filthy sitting in waste. Her room always smelled because they would leave wet and dirty laundry in the hamper for days.

Memory care family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The carpets are so dirty with stains everywhere carpet fraying in entryway and in door transitions which is a huge safety risk. One of the main rooms to spend time in has all the chairs pushed up against the wall.
