What this means for your family

While the facility offers a nice indoor pool, families should closely monitor dining menus and advocate for appropriate placement if a loved one's mobility allows for independent living. The lack of nutritional variety and potential for improper wing assignment are key areas to investigate during a tour.

Families should be aware of significant concerns regarding placement decisions and food quality, as one reviewer reported a relative being inappropriately placed in a high-care wing. While the facility offers amenities like an indoor pool, the dining options are criticized for being repetitive and lacking nutritional variety.

Key Review Excerpts

This is a pretty awful place. They are forcing my independent living-able (fully mobile, can drive, manage her own medications etc.) relative to live in the full care nursing home wing with Alzheimer’s patients. She should be by all measures be in the apartments but they refuse to move her there. The food is on a constant school-cafeteria level 3 week rotation with chicken fingers on the menu, little fresh produce, fish, or other healthy options.
