What this means for your family

Silverado Southlake is an excellent choice for families seeking high-level engagement and specialized dementia programming like the Nexus program. However, if your loved one has complex medical needs, such as colostomy care or heavy medication requirements, you should conduct a thorough interview regarding their ability to maintain consistent care routines during shift changes.

Key Review Excerpts

I visited 16+ memory care facilities searching for a home for my mother. Silverado Southlake stood out as a shining star among a bunch of rusty nails. Many places I visited overmedicated the residents and pushed them in front a TV. At Silverado, there are engagements and activities throughout the even for ALL the residents, regardless of their capabilities.

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

The facility is beautiful - always clean. There are a few facility pets and residents are allowed to have pets (for a monthly fee of course), so if you are severely allergic, that could be an issue. The staff are responsive, caring and kind.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

We moved Dad here when his previous assisted living facility could not meet his needs. We are very, very pleased with Silverado Southlake. Dad is in Nexus. When he started having behavioral issues due to his advancing dementia, Tammie (the Nexus director) helped make sure that his meds were adjusted AND that appropriate interventions/redirections were implemented.
