What this means for your family
While the facility has seen significant improvements in cleanliness and environment under new management, the recurring reports of neglect and medication errors are critical red flags. We strongly recommend visiting during a weekend or evening to observe staffing levels firsthand and asking specifically about their protocols for medication administration and fall prevention.

Key Review Excerpts
“I toured this building back when it was Springwood and have recently toured it again now that it's Siesta Key. I am AMAZED at the 100% difference and turnaround it has made.”
“My husband went to Sapphire Shores for rehab after a short hospitalization. He was there for 24 days. During that time he has been well cared for in all ways. The food was very good, he can be a picky eater and he ate everything most of the time.”
“They neglected my aunt so badly that she went from being fully cognizant and functional to bed ridden and non verbal within 2 months. I suspect they abuse the residents they don’t like.”
