The facility failed to ensure that one of three sampled residents was tested for tuberculosis (TB) disease upon admission. Documentation for the resident's TB skin test was missing from their medical record despite the resident being admitted from an out-of-state facility.
The facility failed to comply with requirements regarding the completion and maintenance of the Resident Register. The regulation requires the administrator and resident to complete and sign the assessment within 72 hours of admission to ensure all care needs and preferences are documented.
