What this means for your family

While the facility is praised for its modern environment and therapy services, the recent reports of staff ignoring call lights and safety lapses are concerning. We strongly recommend visiting during off-hours or weekends to observe staffing levels and response times yourself before committing.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1Given the recent focus on staffing, what specific steps is the facility taking to ensure that call lights are answered promptly and that residents feel their needs are addressed quickly?
  • 2I noticed the facility has a strong reputation for rehab therapy; how do you integrate those therapy goals into the daily routine for residents who are here for long-term care?
  • 3With the current staffing rating being a strength, how do you ensure that same level of attentive care and supervision is maintained consistently during nights and weekends?
  • 4We value a professional and respectful environment; what kind of ongoing training or culture-building initiatives do you have in place to support your staff in providing compassionate, high-quality bedside care?
  • 5Could you walk me through your protocol for medical emergencies or sudden changes in a resident's health, especially during off-peak hours?
  • 6What are some of the most popular social activities or community events that help residents feel connected and engaged with each other throughout the week?

Key Review Excerpts

My mother and I have been treated with respect and kindness from day one. They make the time to answer all our questions and if they don't know the answer they find out.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

We would ring for help and no one would come. Literally had to go out on the hall and tell for help while the one person that was visible was laying on the couch watching TV while ignoring all the alarms my dad fell in the bathroom after ringing for help and noone coming to help for more than 30 minutes.

Rehab patient's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

She had no complaints about the therapy, but had many complaints about everything else. At night time she had children running through her room emptying the trash and leaving her bathroom door open with the light on.
