Based on record review and interview, the administrator failed to ensure each personnel member on an outing had documentation of current training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to R9-10-2203(C)(1)(g). The deficient practice posed a health and safety risk to residents the caregiver did not have CPR training which included a demonstration of the employee's ability to perform CPR. Findings include: 1. A review of E2's personnel record (hired November 17, 2023) revealed a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training certificate from National CPR Foundation, dated September 18, 2023. 2. A review of NationalCPRFoundation.com revealed the CPR certification training course was an online-only training and did not include an in-person demonstration of skills. 3. In an interview, E1 reported being unaware the CPR training program was an online program, and acknowledged the CPR training received by E2 did not include the required demonstration of the employee's ability to perform CPR.
