What this means for your family

While the on-site snack shop is a bright spot, the nursing home itself has a consistent history of serious complaints regarding neglect, hygiene, and communication. If you are considering this facility, you must be prepared to be a highly active advocate for your loved one, as multiple families reported needing to provide their own care or constant supervision to ensure basic needs were met.

Reviews for Premier Washington are heavily polarized, with a significant number of families reporting severe neglect, poor hygiene, and chronic understaffing that impacts patient safety. Conversely, a large volume of 5-star reviews specifically praise 'Jen's Snack Shop' located inside the facility, which serves as a popular respite for visitors and residents. Families considering this facility should be aware that the positive ratings are almost exclusively for the on-site cafe, while the nursing home itself faces consistent, serious allegations of inadequate care.

Key Review Excerpts

The only time she was out of the bed was for shower day which was once a week. She was hit in the face with a lift they used to put her into a wheelchair and was also dropped because 1 aide thought she wouldn't need help.

Family member of rehab patient · 2024☆☆☆☆

My grandmother was here for rehabilitation and drastically declined. I had to hire out of pocket private care ($$$$) so she could get proper care. They didn't actually help her through rehab. They left her to fend for herself.

Granddaughter of resident · 2025☆☆☆☆

My mother has been on one south, a memory care unit for about 2 months now. I'm very happy with her care. I have worked in nursing homes for many years, so I'm somewhat meticulous. The facility is clean and the staff are attentive to the patients.

Families have repeatedly filed complaints about nutrition services, with issues recurring over multiple years including inadequate dietary staffing, poor meal timing, and food safety problems. The facility shows a concerning pattern of fire safety and building maintenance deficiencies across numerous inspections, alongside ongoing problems with resident rights and maintaining a clean environment. While all issues are reported as corrected, the persistent nature of complaints and recurring safety problems suggests systemic challenges that families should investigate during visits.
