What this means for your family

While Pleasant View offers a modern, clean environment with excellent physical therapy services, the recent reports of staff indifference and slow response times are significant red flags. If you are considering this facility, I strongly recommend visiting during off-hours or weekends to observe staff responsiveness firsthand and specifically ask management about their protocols for handling urgent patient requests.

Key Review Excerpts

Physical and Occupational therapy is PHENOMENAL. Myra and Bret really inspire me to do better. I will miss them when I leave.

Rehab patient · 2023★★★★★

I have had more than one staff member have a HUGE attitude with my family and I. I was leaving one day after visiting my mom and she needed to use the bathroom, the person who answered the call light went in the hall to tell the aid and as I was walking out the aid drew a huge sigh and rolled her eyes and said “AGAIN?”

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★☆☆☆

My dad went there was there for part of the night, rang for help and physically called out for help .the staff asked now what do you want ?he was having chest pains and was sent by ambulance to the hospital where he died.

2deficiencies
Well below state avg (9.8)
2 complaint-triggered

Families have filed complaints that led to deficiencies in care planning, safety supervision, abuse reporting, and specialized care like dialysis. The facility shows recurring issues with care planning (appearing in both complaint and routine surveys), fire safety systems, and emergency exits. While most deficiencies have correction dates, the pattern of complaint-triggered issues suggests ongoing care quality concerns that families should discuss during visits.
