Peter Becker Community is a large, well-maintained retirement campus that receives consistent praise for its beautiful grounds, active social events, and friendly staff. However, families of residents in the skilled nursing and rehab sections have reported significant concerns regarding staffing levels, slow response times to call bells, and administrative communication issues. While many visitors enjoy the community atmosphere, those seeking high-acuity care should be aware of these reported service gaps.

Key Review Excerpts

The call bell system goes not work if the aides don’t respond to the calls . My sister, who is a CNA at another facility and myself who is an RN, timed them, and after 20 minutes, no one appeared so we took our mother to the bathroom.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★☆☆

My mom was at Peter Becker for rehab, and while the staff caring for her were very kind and compassionate, they were overworked. My mom waited so long after requesting to be helped to the bathroom, she had an accident.

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

Our mom is currently at Peter Becker for rehab after a hospital stay. We are blown away at the level of care by ALL staff. From cleaning crew to waitress/waiters, nursing, administration and the very nice ladies that greet you, always with a smile, when you first walk in.
