Follow-up inspection on 07/21/2025 verified that WAC 388-78A-2474 and WAC 388-112A-0550-2-b were corrected. Additional consultations were provided for WAC 388-78A-2483 (Tuberculosis) and WAC 388-78A-2320 (Intermittent nursing services systems) which were corrected on-site.
Staff C was not qualified to administer insulin injections to residents R2 and R5, having administered injections 27 times across February and March 2025 prior to obtaining required certification on 03/17/2025.
Facility failed to ensure Staff C met long-term care worker training requirements regarding specialized diabetes nurse delegation training before administering insulin.
