What this means for your family

While the facility offers an excellent therapy program and a beautiful environment, the recurring reports of neglect and slow response times are significant red flags. If you choose this facility, we strongly recommend visiting daily to monitor your loved one's hygiene and medical care, and ensure you have a direct line of communication with a specific manager rather than relying on the main desk.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1Given that staffing levels can fluctuate, what is your current protocol for ensuring call lights are answered promptly, especially during overnight or weekend shifts?
  • 2I noticed some feedback regarding hygiene and linen changes; could you walk me through your facility's daily schedule for personal care and how you monitor that these tasks are consistently completed?
  • 3What is your process for keeping families updated on a resident's health status, and who is the primary point of contact if we have trouble reaching the nursing station by phone?
  • 4I see your therapy team is highly regarded; how do they coordinate with the nursing staff to ensure that doctor's orders are followed accurately during the recovery process?
  • 5Since you have a robust calendar of daily activities, how do you encourage residents to participate, and are there options for those who might need extra assistance getting to these events?
  • 6I appreciate that you actively engage with online feedback; how do you use that input to make tangible improvements to the quality of care provided here?

Key Review Excerpts

The lead physical therapist is experienced, professional and caring. Therapy sessions are good but would have preferred less group sessions.

Rehab patient's family · 2023★★★★

The facility looks wonderful. An impressive physical rehab area, nice lobby, a little cantina, chapel, movie theater. I was totally impressed. It was only after he was admitted that I learned all of the amenities were for show.

Long-term resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

My mother was there after a fall with Subdural Hematoma and Right Shoulder injury. The staff there was very helpful and responded in a timely manner. Nurses and CNA’s were extremely nice & respectful.
