What this means for your family
Juniper Village is widely praised for its home-like environment and dedicated memory care staff, making it a top-tier choice for many families. However, given the serious concerns raised about medical communication during emergencies, we strongly advise you to ask for their specific protocols regarding hospital transfers and how they communicate changes in health status to family members.

34 reviews on Google“Juniper Village at Louisville is highly regarded for its specialized memory care, with families frequently praising the compassionate, long-tenured staff and the 'neighborhood' house-style layout that feels homey rather than institutional. While the vast majority of reviews are glowing, there is a critical report regarding communication lapses and medical oversight that resulted in a serious health incident for a resident. Families considering this facility should feel confident in the staff's expertise but remain vigilant regarding medical coordination.”

Key Review Excerpts
“The building itself with the 4 houses feels homey and not institutional.”
“The staff there was very attentive to her and did a great job of communicating with me anytime they had concerns about her. Having her in a facility with a nurse practitioner in the building was a huge benefit.”
“I discovered that the cost is noticeably less than we were paying for assisted living at a not-too-distant Boulder facility and certainly less than I had feared memory care would run for my father who really requires a LOT of help.”
