What this means for your family

While Franciscan Villa is praised for its clean environment and effective physical therapy, the frequency of reports regarding medication errors and poor communication is a significant red flag. If you choose this facility, ensure you have a daily presence to monitor your loved one's care and be prepared to be highly proactive in communicating with management.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

72 reviews on Google
Franciscan Villa receives highly polarized feedback, with some families praising the facility's cleanliness and rehabilitation therapy, while others report severe neglect and communication failures. While many reviewers highlight a kind and attentive staff, a significant number of families describe incidents of medication errors, poor hygiene, and unresponsive nursing care. Prospective families should be aware that experiences appear inconsistent and may depend heavily on the specific wing or shift assigned.

Key Review Excerpts

The night crew was extremely unprofessional and Not helpful, they are loud talking and laughing all night and use cuss words when talking to eachother in the hallways.

Family member of rehab patient · 2023☆☆☆☆

My father went to Franciscan Villa for skilled nursing. His discharge papers from Saint Francis were for 12mg of decadron. Dr Luiscutty, the doctor at the facility, prescribed, and my father took, 36 mg of decadron. THREE TIMES THE AMOUNT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE.

Family member of skilled nursing patient · 2019☆☆☆☆

I really like Franciscan Villa. It is an exceptionally clean Nursing Home, where my aunt has been for the last 3 months in the long-term Skilled Nursing, after a 3 week stay in their Rehab wing.
