What this means for your family

This facility offers a very different experience depending on the unit; independent and memory care residents often report high satisfaction with the environment and staff. However, the rehabilitation and skilled nursing units have persistent reports of understaffing and neglect. If considering this facility, we strongly recommend daily visits to monitor your loved one's care and asking management specifically about current nurse-to-patient ratios.

Key Review Excerpts

My mom was at The Terrace in memory care for 4+ years. I was so gratified that many of the caregivers were the same people for all those years. Stable staffing is so important.

Memory care family member · 2023★★★★★

The rehab is pretty bad. They don't shower or change your loved one. Most of the CNA hide so they don't have to do anything. You have to make sure someone is there to see your loved one every day.

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My dad was at Beaumont Commons for six years. He received excellent care there and was treated with love and respect. The staff treated him like he was their own father.

This facility has a pattern of recurring safety and fire protection issues that persist across multiple surveys, including problems with fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and electrical equipment appearing in 2022, 2024, and continuing into 2025. The facility also shows repeated deficiencies in resident rights and food safety. While all violations have correction dates, the recurrence of similar safety concerns across three years suggests ongoing challenges with maintaining compliance standards.
