Brookdale Roseville

The facility underwent an unannounced annual inspection conducted by the LPA. The inspection covered resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, and medication storage. No deficiencies were cited pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8.

The facility was inspected following incident reports. Licensing Program Analysts conducted interviews and toured the facility, collecting pertinent documents for review. At the time of the inspection, no deficiencies were cited.

The facility underwent an unannounced Case Management visit. The Licensing Program Analyst met with the Administrator to discuss COVID cases, incident reports, and the plan of correction from a previous annual inspection. No deficiencies were cited during this inspection.

The annual inspection identified multiple deficiencies related to staff compliance, record keeping, and required certifications. Key issues include outdated staff CPR/First Aid certificates, incomplete resident records, and failures to meet specific staffing requirements for CPR/First Aid coverage. All cited deficiencies were classified as Type B (non-compliance).

The facility underwent a Case Management visit regarding an incident report concerning missing medications. The investigator noted that the administrator will develop and submit new procedures for medication destruction to CCL for review. No deficiencies were cited during this inspection.

The facility underwent a required annual inspection on May 24, 2023. The Licensing Program Analyst conducted a thorough tour and reviewed resident and staff records. No deficiencies were cited as a result of today's inspection.
