Brookdale Monument Valley Park is widely praised for its intimate, home-like environment and dedicated memory care staff, making it a top contender for families seeking personalized attention. However, given a recent report regarding staff conduct, we recommend scheduling an unannounced visit during evening or weekend hours to observe staff-resident interactions firsthand.

While the vast majority of feedback is glowing, particularly regarding the memory care unit, a recent report of poor staff conduct suggests potential inconsistencies in care quality that families should investigate.”

Key Review Excerpts
“The memory care floor is staffed by the most caring, loving, well trained people you will ever meet. There are only 14 rooms, so get on the waiting list ASAP! There is very low turnover and many of the staff have been there for years.”
“Every single staff member at Brookdale knew my mother and her likes and dislikes within 2 days. They are exceptionally kind and attentive. They always ask if they can assist our hospice nurse and do everything they can to ensure my mother is happy and comfortable.”
“My aunt lived there for 2.5 years until her passing when she was 91. She was very happy, and made many friends with both staff and residents and staff. We all enjoyed the coziness of the facility.....more like a large home than a senior residence.”
