I DROPPED MY FATHER OFF IN PERFECT HEALTH. THREE DAYS LATER, I HAD TO CALL 911 AND GET HIM TO THE HOSPITAL. HE WAS SO BADLY NEGLECTED THAT HE HAD FLU TYPE A, PNEUMONIA, SEPSIS, AND A PRESSURE ULCER ON HIS HEEL.

Families have filed complaints that triggered serious deficiencies including resident abuse and neglect issues in 2023, though the facility reports correcting these problems. The most recurring problems involve care planning and assessments, medication management, and safety hazards. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the pattern of repeated issues with basic care coordination and the documented abuse concerns warrant careful consideration during any visit.
