The owner relies heavily on repetitive, templated responses for positive reviews and uses a standardized script for negative reviews. While they do provide contact information for grievances, they rarely offer personalized engagement beyond a few specific instances.

The nurses are great, the people in therapy and the ones who run the activities are amazing. The food..... Well it's edible usually

Frequent visitor · 2026★★★★★

My sister was transferred into this facility after a week and a half at Heart Hospital in Bakersfield when she got there she was told her medication would be on time. She wrythed in pain for close to six hours and then was told that there’s no way they could get her medicine to her.

Bakersfield Post Acute has significant compliance issues, with families filing numerous complaints that triggered over half of the 120 federal deficiencies across 33 inspections. The most recurring problems involve nursing staff shortages, care planning failures, and medication management errors. While the facility has corrected past violations, the persistent pattern of inadequate staffing and poor care coordination suggests ongoing quality concerns that families should carefully evaluate.
