What this means for your family

While the facility maintains a clean environment and offers effective rehab services, recent reviews indicate a concerning trend regarding administrative responsiveness and staffing levels. We strongly recommend that families tour the specific unit where their loved one will reside and ask direct questions about staff-to-patient ratios and the process for addressing care concerns with management.

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center, formerly known as Sutton Hill, receives highly polarized feedback from families and patients. While many reviewers praise the facility for its cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, and dedicated nursing staff, a significant number of recent reviews express deep concern regarding poor management, staffing shortages, and a perceived focus on profit over patient care. Families considering this facility should be aware of these inconsistencies, as experiences appear to vary greatly depending on the specific unit and the quality of administrative support.

Key Review Excerpts

The nursing staff is kind and compassionate . They treat the residents with respect and patience , and try to meet all the needs of each resident.

Long-term resident's family · 2019☆☆☆☆

I truly wish I could give 0 stars. There are a few good employees here, but they are overshadowed by poor management and a corporate structure that has zero compassion. It is all about the dollars.

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

I was a patient at Andover Forest Rehab for two weeks just before Christmas. My stay was very pleasant, the Nurses, CNAs, Physical Therapists, were amazing. Very attentive and caring.
