What this means for your family

While the facility offers a wonderful social environment and excellent dining for those in independent living, recent reviews suggest serious risks for those requiring skilled nursing or assisted care. Families should prioritize verifying current staffing levels and specifically ask how the facility ensures timely medication administration and consistent communication with family members.

  • 1It's wonderful to see how much management engages with the community through your review responses; how does that same level of communication translate to how you update families on a resident's daily well-being?
  • 2We've heard great things about the social atmosphere here, so could you tell us more about the specific outings and resident activities planned for the upcoming month?
  • 3Regarding daily care routines, what specific protocols are in place to ensure medication is administered precisely on schedule every day?
  • 4How does the nursing team manage resident care during busy shifts to ensure that hygiene and room cleanliness standards are consistently met?
  • 5In the event of a medical emergency during the night, what is the specific process for notifying both the medical staff and our family?
  • 6Since some residents have really enjoyed the dining options here, could you describe how much flexibility there is with meal preferences and nutritional needs?

Key Review Excerpts

The Peaks is amazing. You know, s... They treated him like he was all their fathers. When he got sick, the whole staff cried.

Long-term resident's family · 2022☆☆☆☆

My Mom has been in 3 different assisted living communities. The Peaks is 5 stars way above the others! The staff is caring kind and go above and beyond.

Assisted living family member · 2022★★★★★

The first person that spoke to me which was one a CNA and she was the rudest I have ever met. Upon getting my weight weighed in the wheelchair and she was aware of my knee surgery I aggressively pushes me on the scale causing trauma to my injured knee.
