What this means for your family

Sunview's therapy department is highly regarded for helping patients regain mobility and independence, making it a strong candidate for short-term rehab. However, the facility has a recurring pattern of poor responsiveness and hygiene issues; families should visit frequently and monitor call light response times and room cleanliness closely.

Key Review Excerpts

The care and treatment I received here made a huge difference. I visited several times a month, and one of the things I appreciated most was the consistency — the same professional, compassionate staff were there every time.

Disabled veteran · 2025★★★★★

My husband has been in Sunview for 7 weeks and couldn't walk, swallow and had a big hole in his back from the last hospital that didn't turn or watch him properly. Sunview has a wonderful speech therapist and worked with him for 2 weeks and is eating and drinking liquids.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★★

The nurse call button being unanswered for hours, not receiving her pain medication for hours after asking for it, being left to sleep in a waiting room type chair only to fall at some point in the night finally being found in the morning and not contacting us to inform us of the fall!!!
