The inspection identified two critical deficiencies, both classified as Type A, indicating immediate health and safety risks. Specifically, the facility failed to maintain proper hot water temperature controls in resident care areas and lacked a current fire clearance. Both deficiencies require corrective action with a due date of 11/07/2022.
Hot water temperature controls for resident personal care faucets are not maintained to automatically regulate temperature between 105°F and 120°F. Measurements showed temperatures up to 126.3°F, posing an immediate health risk.
The facility failed to maintain a current fire clearance approved by the local fire department. The administrator was unable to locate this required documentation.
