How They Respond to Reviews

3%response rate
Generic

The owner uses highly repetitive, templated responses that follow a strict formula of apologizing, stating the issue is not their standard, and directing the reviewer to a single phone number. The responses rarely address the specific allegations (such as hygiene, theft, or staffing) and instead rely on a standardized script.

Key Review Excerpts

I visit my abuelo at St. Giles every week, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the care and environment there. A special thank you to April, who is now the Admissions Coordinator... She is always so kind, welcoming, caring, and helpful.

Long-term resident's family · 2026★★★★★

First impression of this facility when I went to the open house: immaculate cleanliness!!! I have worked and been in facilities but this is the one and only facility I have gone to with no smell or odor at all.

Healthcare professional/Visitor · 2025★★★★★

My dad has passed away "in care". This was made worse by the way we were treated hours before my dad's foreseeable death. The nurse that was on duty on swing shift came to give my dad a nebulizer treatment (which had enough already been disconnected) at 16:30, after I told her my dad couldn't breathe without the oxygen mask.

21 complaint-triggered

This facility has a concerning pattern of 40% complaint-triggered deficiencies, indicating families have repeatedly filed reports about care quality. The most recurring problems involve care planning, accident prevention and safety, and medication management, with these issues persisting across multiple years despite corrections. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the repeated nature of similar violations—particularly around resident safety and care planning—suggests ongoing challenges in maintaining consistent quality standards.
