Key Review Excerpts

I cannot say enough good things about the Solon Care Center. They took care of my mother with grace and compassion. The management, the care givers, the nurses, the reception were all wonderful.

Family member · 2024★★★★★

I cannot say enough about the staff at this facility. And I'm talking about everyone! From the Administrator to Director of Nursing, from the R.N.'s to C.N.A's. From the kitchen staff and activity staff to the housekeeping staff. All were top notch and I couldn't be happier with the care she was given.

Long-term resident's family · 2020★★★★★

My Mother was in Solon Nursing Care. Only if you pay attention to the staff on what they do. When I came up one time, ( they didn't know I was coming) they didn't feed her breakfast because she wanted to sleep. That I understand,,,, But as soon as I came into her room the aid wanted to take her to her bath, she said I need to pee,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the aid didn't pay attention to her wishes and she pee on her slippers..

Clean record — no deficiencies

This facility has persistent issues with fire safety and emergency preparedness across multiple surveys, with repeated problems in smoke detection systems, emergency evacuation plans, and electrical system maintenance. Families have filed complaints leading to deficiencies in accident prevention and nursing staffing levels. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the recurring patterns in fire safety and emergency preparedness suggest ongoing compliance challenges that merit discussion during facility visits.
