What this means for your family

The facility has seen a notable improvement in atmosphere and cleanliness under recent management, with many families praising the rehab and nursing staff. However, because there are still recurring reports of serious medical neglect and communication failures, we strongly recommend that you visit unannounced and ask specifically about their protocols for monitoring patient health and responding to family concerns.

Rehab patient's family · 2025★★★★★

After a 12 day hospital visit, my 90 year old Mom went to SHRC for rehab. After 8 days, she was back in the ER due to aspiration and constipation. Then she went back to SHRC for another 5 days and ended up back in the ER with bed sores, MRSA, and a UTI.

Long-term resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

My mom with dementia was treated so well here. She took a fall at her assisted living facility, went to the hospital and was sent to Seneca Health & Rehab for 8 days of physical therapy and rehab. The staff were very kind and helpful and the facility appeared and smelled extremely clean.
