Key Review Excerpts

My sister is a resident and every time I go in there we have an issue with the staff. Not only are they rude but lazy too.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★★★

My dad was there before he passed away last month. My sister got the call from the nursing home at 1am saying they found him in the activity room that he was watching the game. My question is if he was watching the game why did no one check on him till 1am there was no game on that late.

Long-term resident's family · 2022☆☆☆☆

The staff was really nice and friendly. The room was clean. They would always come and make sure I got clean up every morning.

Scioto Pointe has concerning patterns with families filing multiple complaints over serious care issues. The facility shows recurring problems with infection control, safety management, and care planning that have persisted across multiple years and surveys. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the repeated nature of core care deficiencies - including infection control violations appearing in both 2021 and 2025 - suggests ongoing challenges in maintaining consistent quality standards.
