What this means for your family

Schuylkill Center is highly regarded for its compassionate nursing and effective rehabilitation therapy, making it a strong candidate for recovery. However, families should be aware of recurring reports regarding understaffing and inconsistent food service. We recommend visiting during off-hours to observe staffing levels and asking management specifically about their plan for facility maintenance.

Key Review Excerpts

The nursing and therapy departments have been thorough and compassionate in every way. I would highly recommend this facility.

Family member · 2025★★★★★

The rehab portion of the Center seems to be woefully understaffed and because they do not seem to have enough people to do all the jobs that require proper patient care, from maintenance (outlet not working), food services (lunch at 2:00 pm), to aids and nurses, the time with the patients is lacking and the facility is run down or as I heard said, the place is shabby.
