Key Review Excerpts

My mother-in-law is there for short term rehab. I cannot fully expressed the depths of my gratefulness to all the staff at Royal Falmouth. Not only are they dedicated and kind, but at 97, my mother-in-law is walking better than she has in many years.

Short-term rehab family member · 2023★★★★★

My grandfather was severely injured and died under the care of this terrible staff. We were not notified of the extent of his injuries until after he arrived at the hospital, where the hospital informed us that he would not survive.

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

As with most nursing homes around here, they share the same problems with providing adequate staff. There are many nurses, CNA’s and other ancilllary staff who have been working here for many years. I find them all to be caring, compassionate and patient with the residents.

Families have filed complaints that led to inspections, including recent issues with medication management and pain management. The facility shows recurring problems across care planning, medication safety, and fire safety systems spanning multiple years. While the facility reports correcting each deficiency, the pattern of repeated violations in similar areas - particularly around resident assessment and safety systems - suggests ongoing challenges with maintaining consistent care standards.
