What this means for your family

While the rehab therapy team is frequently praised, the recurring reports of neglect and poor hygiene are critical red flags. If you choose this facility, you must be prepared to visit daily to monitor your loved one's care, as communication from the nursing staff is inconsistent and response times to patient needs are frequently reported as slow.

Rockdale Healthcare Center receives highly polarized reviews, with experiences ranging from excellent rehab outcomes to reports of severe neglect. While some families praise the admissions team and specific nursing staff for their attentiveness, a significant number of reviewers report issues with hygiene, slow response times, and poor communication regarding patient care plans. Families considering this facility should be aware that the quality of care appears inconsistent and highly dependent on individual staff members.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother is a patient. This place is not a rehab center. They rarely do rehab. They are short staffed. Patients lay in the soiled diapers for hours, i have perosnally had to get nurses for patients because their light stays on for hours without anyone responding to their needs.

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My mom has been undergoing PT at RHC and so far everything has been very good. Starting out with Tammy in Admissions very nice and informative. Nurses Jameika and Brianna are very kind, acknowledgable and helpful. CNA Melissa...OMG she is phenomenal!!!

Rehab patient's family · 2022★★★★

My grandmother passed today after we found her laying in urine and pure filthiness! It was only ONE cna that helped us which was her usual. We will get to the bottom of this I promise.
