What this means for your family

While the facility is visually clean and has an active activities program, there is a concerning pattern of neglect for long-term residents, particularly regarding hygiene and call-light response times. If you choose this facility, we strongly recommend frequent, unannounced visits to monitor your loved one's care and to ensure that staff are meeting basic needs consistently.

Westbury Center of Conyers receives a high volume of positive reviews praising its cleanliness, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere, particularly from visitors and families of short-term rehab patients. However, there is a recurring pattern of serious complaints regarding inconsistent care, slow response times for call lights, and neglectful hygiene practices for long-term residents. Families should be aware that while the facility often makes a strong first impression, long-term experiences appear to vary significantly.

Key Review Excerpts

It's been 3 months now and unfortunately it has been a complete decline in the care, the food and cleaning of my mother's room. I visit 5 times per week and several times she has been waiting over 2 hours to be cleaned while laying in the bed with crumbs from every meal.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★☆☆☆

The absolute worst place on Earth! Don’t even consider this place for any living being! Spent 2 days there and was rushed to the hospital after suffering for 13 hours with excruciating muscle spasms related to back surgery.

Rehab patient · 2024☆☆☆☆

The facility is very clean, from what I can see. I have a family member that is currently there, the CNA's not so friendly... all staff can work on communicating better with family members about their loved ones. Right now I am seeing positive changes to the facility.
