What this means for your family

Riverside Health & Rehab has a standout activities department and a dedicated therapy team, making it a potentially good choice for short-term rehab. However, families should be aware of significant concerns regarding facility cleanliness and inconsistent nursing communication. I strongly recommend visiting the specific wing where your loved one would reside and asking for a tour of the dining and living areas to ensure they meet your standards.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

305 reviews on Google
Riverside Health & Rehab Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many reviewers praising the activities department and specific staff members, while others report severe concerns regarding cleanliness, food quality, and staffing levels. While some families describe the care as compassionate and attentive, others report significant issues with hygiene, lost personal belongings, and poor communication from nursing staff. Prospective families should be aware that experiences appear to vary significantly depending on the wing or the specific shift.

Key Review Excerpts

The website of being 4.5 star is deceiving. The restaurant like dining is not true. The patients have had their meals in their rooms since covid. The place is very dirty. Never enough help.

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My mother was sent to Riverside for end of life care and these folks deliver! Dr. Moon, Nurse Kimbra, Nurse Heather and Nurse Lexi were exceptional at not only giving the care that is required, but they go WAY BEYOND.

End-of-life care family member · 2025★★★★★

I can't give them five stars because I have seen the best of nursing homes and Riverside is not perfect but they will work with you and your family to provide the best care. But if you are looking for a place to simply enroll your loved one and leave this is not it.
