What this means for your family

While some families have had positive experiences with the therapy team, the recent reports of resident falls and facility infrastructure failures are significant red flags. We strongly advise families to conduct an unannounced visit to observe staff-to-resident ratios and check the current status of facility maintenance before making a decision.

Key Review Excerpts

My husband was cared for by wonderful, caring staff who bent over backwards to meet his needs. They were his strongest advocates. He had wonderful occupational and physical therapists.

Long-term resident's family · 2019★★★★★

During the trick or treating event they put on with the residents this year, My group and I, along with many others witnessed a incident with a resident who dropped there bucket of candy, went to pick it up, fell out of there wheel chair and hit there head, shoulder and hip pretty hard.

Event attendee · 2025☆☆☆☆

No air conditioning? Low staffed? Power outages? Idk how insurance okay with cutting these guys checks on behalf of their residents..

Families filed reports leading to serious deficiencies in December 2025 regarding abuse prevention and accident hazards, which were corrected. Pine View Care Center shows recurring issues with fire safety systems, electrical systems, and food service across multiple surveys. While all deficiencies have correction dates, the pattern of repeated fire safety violations and recent complaint-triggered findings about resident protection warrant careful consideration during visits.
