What this means for your family

Pelican Pointe is frequently praised for its clean facility and attentive nursing staff, making it a strong contender for many families. However, given the serious reports of unprofessionalism and neglect, we strongly advise families to conduct unannounced visits and speak directly with current residents to gauge the quality of care firsthand.

Pelican Pointe receives high praise from many families for its attentive nursing staff, clean environment, and effective rehabilitation services. However, there is a significant divide in experiences, with several reviewers reporting serious concerns regarding unprofessional behavior, neglectful care, and poor food quality. Key Review Excerpts

My grandmother has been at Pelican Point for almost a year now and its the best decision we could have made for her. She has dementia and it was difficult trying to take care of her at home. Here she has 24/7 supervision, activities to keep her physically active as well as mentally challenged and we know she's eating well.

Memory care family member · 2024★★★★★

My father has been at Pelican Pointe for a month…he’s in the memory care unit…he’s acclimated so well…we were pleasantly surprised because he can be ornery…he’s been to events for veterans, he enjoys the live music…the nurses take the time to know the residents and always have updates for us

Memory care family member · 2026★★★★★

Over the last year my mom has struggled with injuries and placed in rehab in three different facilities all within driving distance of North Cape May. Pelican Pointe Rehab has been the best experience, by far. The staff have been attentive and caring. They respond promptly to calls of help.
