What this means for your family

This facility is well-regarded for its vibrant activities program and friendly staff, which can provide a positive environment for long-term residents. However, because there are serious, recurring reports regarding the quality of rehabilitation and responsiveness, we strongly recommend that families of rehab patients monitor care closely and maintain regular communication with leadership to ensure needs are met.

Key Review Excerpts

My mom was at Florence Hand for approximately 5 months. We had a couple of issues however leadership handled them. We actually met with leadership several times on mom’s plan of treatment and our issues/concerns. Overall the facility and staff services were good.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

To say that the quality of care is a zero is an understatement. My father was supposed to be in the rehabilitation part of FHH. After being there for 5 days they refused to even get him out of the bed. His room was horrible. We continued to have confrontation with the workers there who honestly do not care about their patients at all.

Rehab patient's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

I visit my brother every other day n the home is one of the cleanest homes I have ever been n n the staff is so courteous n concern about the residents. A great place!

Families filed complaints that triggered a recent survey revealing serious concerns about resident protection from abuse and neglect, along with failures to report incidents properly. The facility shows recurring problems with food safety across multiple surveys and has persistent issues with fire safety systems and building maintenance.
